BACKGROUND

Charlie Hartwell is a co-founder of ShiftIt Institute and a veteran movement builder at the intersection of capital, mental health technology, and conscious leadership. As Managing Director of Bridge Builders Collaborative (BBC) — a 30+ company early-stage fund — he helped co-create the global mental health technology industry and shepherded $100M of investment across 30+ companies. His career spans executive and advisory roles across healthcare access in East Africa through Provide International, the pioneering yourexpedition women's Antarctic crossing, and two decades of global investment and advisory work. Charlie holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and maintains active global networks across the US, Europe, and Africa.
